I had everything I could ever need while at MediLodge of Rogers City. My nurses and aides were top notch! They were all very helpful and knowledgeable. They are the BEST!

I chose MediLodge of Rogers City because I see the kindness the staff give their residents every day. I was treated very well by everyone. The therapy team was great. They explained all their treatment plans to me and assisted me in my recovery. It was hard work, but I made up my mind to do the best I could so I could return home as quickly as possible. A special ”thank you” to Tom from maintenance who assisted with getting me a TV, so I did not miss any Tiger games. You are all wonderful!    

I never thought, in my entire life, that I'd think of "visiting a nursing home," as the highlight of my day. I've come to know many of the people there, residents and staff and I can honestly say that I rarely leave without a lifted spirit and a joy that isn't found anywhere else. Last night, I visited my mom and on my way in and out (as usual) I stopped to speak/visit with several of the beautiful souls there. Including, (I'll call her) "Jenny." (Let me tell you that in the hundreds of times I've been there, I've never seen anyone come to visit "Jenny." Not once.) Anyway, I noticed her in the hall sitting alone, and she called to me as I passed, as she often does. I turned around and went back to chat with her. (I call her "Sunshine") She wanted to know where I was going. 😌 I told her that I had just stopped to see my mom and she (Jenny) started to sing softly to me, smiling from ear to ear. I quickly looked around for the radio and not seeing it; I told her, "We need some music! And when I come back, we're gonna DANCE!" She's not able to walk, and it's quite obvious the years haven't been so kind to her. But, when I said that we'd dance, her eyes LIT UP with pure joy. ☀️ How I wish you could have seen them. I wish her FAMILY would have seen her face...that beautiful face. So, that's my story. It's that simple. That's where you'll find true and unadulterated joy. Grace. In the "serving." In the forgotten ones. I'll never forget it. 💝

The reason we chose this center is for care and for therapy following a medical event that put her in the hospital on July 1. The entire staff stood out to me. Mom is a picky eater and loves the food!

I chose MediLodge of Rogers City for myself because it was close to my relatives. Eleanor, PT pushed me to achieve my goals; she is wonderful. The staff is always so very kind, have a smile on their faces and are willing to help me. MediLodge is a very clean facility. I have had the best experience with the MediLodge of Rogers City, and I would recommend it to my family and friends.

I have come so far from the beginning. From my very first day until my very last day. Physical therapy has helped me in so many ways, they helped my tremors get so much better compared to before. Whereas before I couldn’t even hold my head up now I can. I can walk, eat, and talk so much better on my own. I can now better communicate with other people. The nurses have been very professional and kind hearted at all times. The administrative personnel has also been very helpful and kind to me. I have grown very close to everyone and I will truly miss a lot of the people here. The nurses’ aides have been helpful and I am glad to have had the opportunity to come to Medilodge because I am now able to be independent. I would like thank everyone at Medilodge for going above and beyond my expectations at all times.

I chose MediLodge of Rogers City for my husband Walter for the friendly and caring center that it is, with expert care and how they care for their residents. Therapy and Nursing were excellent! CNA's were always at our needs to the best of their ability. Shelby, the Director of Resident advocacy and the Assistant Admission Coordinator here at MediLodge, was always up and beyond, coming in to answer questions of care and making corrections when needed.

The reason I chose this center is because of a referral by the emergency room surgeon, and it's closer to home for me. The therapy department stood out and exceeded my expectation! Well educated in their field, they work with you to help meet your personal goals. This facility is extremely fortunate to have such top-notch employees in several departments.
