Annual Luetzow Golf Outing

Denise Chapman stood out the most to me with all the activities she organized to keep residents busy. She was always so helpful. MediLodge of Rogers City has such loving and caring staff. Along with a very clean building. Other staff members that stood out to me the most are: Trisha Wehzel, Shelby Wolgast and Alma Sutphen.

I never thought, in my entire life, that I'd think of "visiting a nursing home," as the highlight of my day. I've come to know many of the people there, residents and staff and I can honestly say that I rarely leave without a lifted spirit and a joy that isn't found anywhere else. Last night, I visited my mom and on my way in and out (as usual) I stopped to speak/visit with several of the beautiful souls there. Including, (I'll call her) "Jenny." (Let me tell you that in the hundreds of times I've been there, I've never seen anyone come to visit "Jenny." Not once.) Anyway, I noticed her in the hall sitting alone, and she called to me as I passed, as she often does. I turned around and went back to chat with her. (I call her "Sunshine") She wanted to know where I was going. 😌 I told her that I had just stopped to see my mom and she (Jenny) started to sing softly to me, smiling from ear to ear. I quickly looked around for the radio and not seeing it; I told her, "We need some music! And when I come back, we're gonna DANCE!" She's not able to walk, and it's quite obvious the years haven't been so kind to her. But, when I said that we'd dance, her eyes LIT UP with pure joy. ☀️ How I wish you could have seen them. I wish her FAMILY would have seen her face...that beautiful face. So, that's my story. It's that simple. That's where you'll find true and unadulterated joy. Grace. In the "serving." In the forgotten ones. I'll never forget it. 💝

I chose Medilodge of Rogers City because I had heard great things about the staff and they were truly GREAT! The nursing staff did everything they could possibly do to help me. The kitchen staff was very good. They made sure I received the food I needed as I am a Vegetarian and I know sometimes that can be tough and hard to please. The Therapy Department really “stood out”! They really made me work hard and were always at my side to be sure that I would not give up! I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I chose MediLodge of Rogers City because it was close to home. My mom stayed here before and the staff took very good care of her. I think MediLodge of Rogers city is super from the bottom all the way to the top. You guys are the best!

This center was recommended by the Petoskey hospital and I had also come to visit people here before and they seemed t have a great experience. MediLodge of Rogers City is a very beautiful building, and everyone does a great job here. The facility is always kept clean. I would highly recommend this facility!

I chose this center because over the years I had visited friends and was impressed by such a friendly staff. I received outstanding care from everyone on staff! I spent most of my time with the therapy staff, and they all did such great work! MediLodge of Rogers City should be proud! Keep up the good work!

I chose Medilodge of Rogers City to be closer to my family. I was a previous patient, and I remember them treating me very well. Staff is always polite and there to help you. Donna Thompson, CENA and Sue Z, LPN were great. I would certainly choose Medilodge of Rogers City again.

I would highly recommend this facility to my friends and family. The facility is always so clean and has very hard workers. Everyone on the staff has been very helpful and accommodating to my needs.

I chose MediLodge of Rogers City for my husband Walter for the friendly and caring center that it is, with expert care and how they care for their residents. Therapy and Nursing were excellent! CNA's were always at our needs to the best of their ability. Shelby, the Director of Resident advocacy and the Assistant Admission Coordinator here at MediLodge, was always up and beyond, coming in to answer questions of care and making corrections when needed.
